Welcome
My name is Ray and I’m a Psychologist who offers therapy to individual adults aged 18 and over. I have experience working with the complex emotions that come with long-standing depression and anxiety, life transitions, existential issues, unhealthy coping mechanisms, family conflicts, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
My approach involves deepening an understanding of yourself. Although this may be challenging and confronting at times, I hope that you’ll be able to see the efforts pay off in rewarding you with:
- Greater ability to build fulfilling connections with others
- Engaging in behaviours that have meaning and purpose
- Maintaining an authentic sense of self whilst navigating different situations and relationships
- A deeper understanding of conflicting thoughts and feelings
- More self-compassion towards all the different parts of you
- Increased courage towards facing uncertainty and discomfort

Why seek therapy?
We are all caught in a web of relationships.
If any of early relationships with parents, friends, partners did not show us the right amount of love, attention or understanding growing up, this can result in experiences of self-doubt, frustration, confusion, shame and despair that ripple into our adult lives. Through no fault of our own, we may not feel like our real self, as though something is missing.
I believe therapy can help untangle the bonds of our past experiences and facilitate new ways of relating to ourselves and others that help us feel more authentic, productive and fully engaged with life.
My goal
Finding the right therapist is hard.
If it’s your first time, it can be daunting. Even if you get the courage to take that first step, it can be expensive.
I know that the uncertainty in what you will get out of therapy and the financial cost are two big barriers for people starting therapy. To ensure that you don’t delay getting the help you need, I aim to make therapy more accessible by:
- Charging lower fees to lessen the financial burden.
- Being transparent in my approach so that you know what you’re getting into.
